Een groep jongeren ligt op matrassen op de vloer. De afgelopen nacht zijn ze vanuit Eritrea naar Ethiopië gelopen op plastic schoenen. Het zijn vooral jonge mannen; 18,19 en zelfs 14 jaar. Aan de Ethiopische kant zijn ze bij de grens door soldaten opgepikt en naar een klein verzamelpunt voor migranten gebracht.

The Traumatic Grief Inventory Self-Report version (TGI-SR) is an 18-item self-report measure. It was designed to assess symptoms of Persistent Complex Bereavement Disorder (PCBD) included in Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM)-5 and Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD) proposed by an international group of experts in grief. The research in this article used data from a bereaved patient sample and people who lost loved ones in the Ukrainian airplane crash in July 2014.

This paper explores the effects of war in Iraq in the period between 1991 and 2003, with a focus on the effect of economic sanctions on mental health services. The authors, Iraqi psychiatrists with direct contact with patients and events during this period, review literature and reports published contemporaneously. They describe how the mental health system in Iraq was deteriorated, not only by war, but also by United Nations imposed sanctions during the period between the first and second Iraq war.
