De grote stroom vluchtelingen zorgt bij gemeenten voor veel dilemma’s en vraagstukken. De vraag naar huisvesting voor vergunninghouders die zijn gekoppeld aan gemeenten, wordt steeds groter. Er is tevens nog steeds crisis- en noodopvang nodig. Gemeenten hebben niet alleen veel vragen op het gebied van huisvesting (van vergunninghouders), maar ook over andere vraagstukken, zoals maatschappelijke begeleiding, werk en inkomen, scholing, integratie, gezondheidszorg, etc. Het OndersteuningsTeam Asielzoekers en Vergunninghouders (OTAV) ondersteunt gemeenten hierbij.

In recent years, several manuals and guidelines have been developed in the field of trauma. Some of these have addressed gender-based violence (GBV), its consequences, and ways to prevent it and protect against it. This manual focuses on the mental health of survivors of trauma, especially trauma associated with GBV. The aim is to provide a very practical supplement to the existing literature.

Op 10 mei 1940 ontwaakten de Delftenaren door het geblaf van afweerkanonnen, het geratel van mitrailleurs en het gegons van vliegtuigen. De Duitse invasie was begonnen. Vijf dagen later was de strijd alweer afgelopen en was de bezetting een feit. Met de komst van de nieuwe machthebbers drong de vraag zich op welke houding men moest aannemen tegenover de Duitsers. Vooral voor de Technische Hogeschool Delft leek deze vraag urgent. De resultaten van technisch onderzoek konden van belang zijn voor de oorlogsmachine.

Abstract

A taxonomy of disasters is presented in which the two major axes of causes and elements are considered adequate for plotting on one grid the different kinds of disaster that occur. Then the disaster victims are differentiated into six groups according to the type of their involvement, their function, their culpability, their self control and certain extraneous factors. The purpose is to integrate different studies of disaster, to elicit common concerns, to offer common remedies, and to generate further research.
